Welcome to the first installment of Day of the Truck . For some reason, I saw a bunch of cool-ass trucks today. I managed to take pictures of a few of them with my iPotato. I'm going to post them tonight so that you too can enjoy the trucktacular truckness.
As I'm not usually an old truck kind of person, I can't tell you exactly what this is. Oppo knows, I'm sure.
What I can tell you is that it's being used daily by the maintenance staff at Shilshole Bay Marina in Seattle.
I also know it's a ford, and that it probably has a V8.
That's just a guess though...

Very cool. I'd love to own a truck like that some day. I've been keeping my eyes out for one, but nothing in my price range yet.

1952. Flathead and 3-speed, if not modified. Solid front axle, leaf springs all 4 corners. When I was a young teen, guy in my hometown put a Ford 289 in one like this. Probably was way faster than the suspension could handle safely.
